외부강사초청강연을 개최하오니 많은 참여 부탁드립니다. 1. 일자: 2025.07.25.(금) 11:00~12:00 2. 장소: 대연캠퍼스 웅비관 1321호실 3. 강연 주제: "AI-Assisted Network Services over Federated Open Networks in 5G and beyond" 강 연 자: 최백영 교수 (University of Missouri - Kansas City, Professor of Computer Science, IEEE Communications Society - Distinguished Lecture) Abstract: The architecture of the 5G network, and the anticipated 6G network, will predominantly be virtualized and rely on software functionalities. These virtualization trends extend from the core to the Radio Access Network (RAN) functionalities. The decoupling of software and hardware, open interfaces, containerization and virtualization, and the open source code principle provide ample opportunities for AI-assisted innovation over testbeds. In the talk, we examine an ongoing project where we develop a distributed federation platform that enables agile AI-assisted network service delivery over cross-sector open networks. We will explore the intricacies of open testbeds and their federation platform. Particularly, a network service use case over the federated networks will be discussed, showcasing how semantic network management is achieved using machine learning and generative AI techniques.
